Hearties Domain
Thanks to Netflix, as usual, I found a new (new to me) TV show to fall into. Hallmark’s TV show When Calls the Heart has pulled me in and thrown me into The Hearties fan base. The fan base seems to be ever-growing.
When Calls the Heart has been running for 6 seasons strong so far. Season 7 premieres February 23rd, 2020 on the Hallmark channel at 8:00 P.M. EST / 7:00 P.M. CST.

Hallmark’s Description: In the sweeping frontier drama “When Calls the Heart,” the town of Hope Valley adjusts to the changing times– while still maintaining the small-town bonds that connect them. The series follows single mother Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), Hope Valley’s beloved schoolteacher who navigates life alone when her husband is suddenly killed on duty. Elizabeth’s best friend and mentor is Abigail Stanton (Lori Loughlin), the town’s mayor and owner of Abigail’s Café. Abigail, also a widow and single mother, has persevered through great adversity to become the heart of the town. Other central characters include Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton), the town’s loveable busybody once described as “part Broadway showgirl, part Frontier woman,” and her patient husband, the upstanding businessman Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith). Sheriff Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) works hard to protect the town and to cement his position as Hope Valley’s ultimate authority, and Dr. Carson Shepherd (Paul Greene) keeps Hope Valley healthy all while negotiating his own personal challenges in life and love. New to the community are Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and mysterious gambler Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). Finally, Elizabeth will continue to teach the children of Hope Valley – and although there are potential suitors interested in her, the only relationship she is focused on is the one with her baby.
The series is inspired by Janette Oke’s bestselling book series about the Canadian West.
