Most Popular Post Of All Time
Hey Readers! So, I was curious as to which post is the most popular since switching to the just-jenna.net domain. Doing a little spring cleaning on Twitter led me to diving into past blog posts. Gotta say… I was surprised by all of you. Blueberry Sweet Rolls Win Surprisingly, this was the most popular post! What was thought to be a short lived and unpopular post, is still getting views! Most Popular Post Witchy Valentine’s Day This was a test run with the very first makeup swatch that I ever created. I’m sure Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is what made this post so popular, though, and first runner up! 1st…

Dunkin’ VS. PJ’s Coffee: Gingerbread Flavor
As you all know I am a big fan of Dunkin’ Donuts! Last year Dunkin’ nailed it with their gingerbread flavored coffee. Unfortunately, to much dismay, this year the gingerbread flavor is unavailable at Dunkin’. However, PJ’s Coffee has gingerbread flavored coffee this year! So, who did it better? Dunkin’ or PJ’s Coffee? While I’m really thankful that PJ’s Coffee offers gingerbread flavored coffee the flavor is a bit of a let down in comparison to Dunkin’. It has too much of an alcohol aftertaste. It definitely doesn’t stop me from being in the spirit this year by drinking it! Dunkin’s version of gingerbread tasted like a gingerbread cookie without…

10 Summer Smoothies
Looking for a refreshing summer smoothie that doesn’t involve breaking the bank with Smoothie King or a local smoothie shop? I’ve got you covered with a collection of 10 smoothies found across the interweb… otherwise known as the internet, of course! Bonus: Let me introduce you to my favorite quick smoothie, which is simple and I have been making for years. Before venturing into the world of smoothies I was dumping whatever sounded good at the time into a blender (smart, right?!?). Let me be honest though, I still do it (haha)! The fruit can be fresh or frozen but I tend to use frozen. Measurements don’t have to be…

Who Has the Better Shrimp Po’boy?
A lot of people that live in the deep southern part of Louisiana have eaten at or at least heard of Kenner Seafood. Kenner Seafood sells fresh and live seafood, but also has dine in eating. They have an extensive menu of favorite Louisiana seafood dishes. Not interested in seafood? Don’t worry, they have you covered with chicken and pasta dishes. The seating area is the perfect environment for a Louisiana style seafood restaurant, especially the outdoor seating. The service was also excellent! Mabile’s is one the most popular places to eat in LaPlace, LA. when it comes to po’boys. It’s local and they serve great food. Not to mention…

V’s Cafe Moves Into Town
Have you ever gotten co-workers stuck on one of your favorite takeout meals? It happened to me with lo mein from Best Wok. It has now happened again with the club sandwich from a new hotspot for food. It all started with a basic group text message over the weekend with a picture of the sandwich. This foodie finally visited said hotspot. V’s Café is a new treat for St. John! It’s not another coffee shop. Instead it is a quaint restaurant café style. There is seating inside and outside. It is nestled on Carrollwood, located across the street from the Medicine Shoppe’s new location. Currently the café is decorated for…

Blueberry Sweet Rolls Win
In an attempt to budget, and up my bread making skills, before the week starts I have been making breakfast for the week. Started off making protein muffins for a while, which included blueberries. Last week’s breakfast item was Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Scones. This week’s breakfast will be Blueberry Sweet Rolls. Notice a theme here? I discovered the recipe for the blueberry sweet rolls on Instagram on Nourishing’s account. It was somewhat of a repost from Peanut Butter & Jilly’s Instagram. This is the only recipe I’ve tried from Peanut Butter & Jilly but this one is without a doubt amazing… imagine a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon and the…

Taste Test
Hey Readers! So many people today follow so many different diets. Keto is possibly the most popular diet of them all at the moment. I do not in any way endorse said diets. Everyone has their own reason for eating a particular way or not so particular way. All of that aside, let’s get to reviewing some health food products that I’ve tried lately! Up first is the most recent snack bar that was purchased during pandemic time. It has been so hard to locate healthy snacks at the grocery store as well as through Amazon Pantry. By chance I came across the Health Warrior Chia Bar in a chocolate…
