The Perfect Heist
If you haven’t seen Money Heist on Netflix yet then you might be missing out. While Money Heist is popular it took me a long time to cave into watching it because it honestly seemed like more hype than anything else. Upon starting the series I also discovered this isn’t a new TV series, nope, not even close. It has four seasons so far! So far, I’ve only seen the first season.
Money Heist is somewhat what it sounds like. The good guys can be the bad guys and the bad guys can be the good guys… and Tokyo isn’t just a city. There are many characters, each with their own story and reason for doing what they do. Action… Check. Illegal money… Check. Thrilling… Check. Emotional issues… Check. Twisted plot… Check. Also, shocking scenes… Check! Don’t forget a sprinkle of romance.
The interesting part is that the TV series is actually in the Spanish language and dubbed in English.
TMDB – To carry out the biggest heist in history, a mysterious man called The Professor recruits a band of eight robbers who have a single characteristic: none of them has anything to lose. Five months of seclusion – memorizing every step, every detail, every probability – culminate in eleven days locked up in the National Coinage and Stamp Factory of Spain, surrounded by police forces and with dozens of hostages in their power, to find out whether their suicide wager will lead to everything or nothing.
