Cobra Kai Is Back!

New Year’s wasn’t just a long-awaited moment for those desperate to get out of 2020. January 1st, 2021 was also the date that Netflix released season 3 of Cobra Kai! After season 2 ended with a large cliffhanger fans were patiently, or rather impatiently, waiting for season 3 to be released.

*Warning* A few spoilers ahead! Proceed with caution.

Since the big bad Cobra, also known as Kreese, has taken over the dojo Johnny must find a way around losing the dojo and his students. With help from former students Johnny creates a new dojo. Eagle Fang Karate. The struggle is real but eventually some of Johnny’s pupils begin seeing him as Sensei again.

Ali finally makes an appearance! The timing couldn’t be worse. Johnny shared a moment with Carmen the night before Ali announces she will be in town. Johnny decides to not only meet Ali for lunch but also spend the evening with her. Carmen isn’t mentioned from this point on. Season 4 could possibly go two different routes with this situation. Ali and Johnny could part ways with nothing growing between them whatsoever. Another direction the show could possibly take these characters is a love triangle, keeping in mind Carmen doesn’t know about Johnny spending time with Ali. Will this be the ending of something that could have been or the growth and realization of something special?

What about Tori going after Sam with full on attack mode?!? That was definitely a stressful moment of the last episode!

Daniel also gets his wish for a full-time dojo. Looks like Amanda is actually supporting him at this point as well.

There is a lot more to discover this season and hopefully in the next season as well. In what seems to be true Cobra Kai fashion season 3 also left us with a cliffhanger. Not quite as nail biting as the end of season 2 but it still left a yearning for the next season! There are so many endless possibilities in season 4 with different characters. Cross your fingers for the best dojo yet!
