Lady Whistledown Explodes Netflix
Fans of period movies and books were ecstatic to find out that Bridgerton was coming to Netflix. It’s not that often a good period piece is released that isn’t in book format. Pride and Prejudice, anyone? Bookworms and movie fans alike have always debated on their favorite actress that played Elizabeth Bennet. My personal favorite is Keira Knightley. I have seen that version of Pride and Prejudice at least a dozen times. It forever remains one of my favorite movies. Oddly, I have yet to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas was published a few years ago and is still going strong. I discovered it on GoodReads some time before it came out due to reading Maas’s Throne of Glass series. Recently, I noticed a second wave of newcomers to the ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) series. With that being said I won’t post spoilers. Coming up during the month of May 2020 Netflix is making bookworms happy once again by releasing one of many movies based on books. On May 15th Netflix will be releasing The Devil All the Time based on the screenplay adaption that was written by Antonio and Paulo Campos. Walking into Books-A-Million over the weekend after not having been in a bookstore in a couple years is a thrilling moment for a bookworm. The not so thrilling moment? The prices! Also, the Books-A-Million location that I go to no longer has a huge book bargain section, which was my favorite section. Upon entering the store I made my way over to the stationary section before book browsing when something caught my eye. There was an astrology section.
