Overnight Oatmeal… Perhaps Not
Being a big fan of oatmeal I still had yet to try overnight oatmeal… until a couple days ago. Overnight oatmeal is made by placing oats, sweetener of choice, any type of milk and any additional extras (i.e. fruit, nuts, spices) in a sealed tight container such as a mason jar. After placing the items in the jar, seal it tight and shake the jar like crazy until everything is thoroughly stirred. Place the jar in the refrigerator overnight and in the morning the oatmeal is ready to go. It can be eaten chilled or hot. After trying the overnight oatmeal that I made something seemed off. Thanks to Netflix, as usual, I found a new (new to me) TV show to fall into. Hallmark’s TV show When Calls the Heart has pulled me in and thrown me into The Hearties fan base. The fan base seems to be ever-growing. When Calls the Heart has been running for 6 seasons strong so far. Season 7 premieres February 23rd, 2020 on the Hallmark channel at 8:00 P.M. EST / 7:00 P.M. Queen & King of Scots
Finally checked out the ever popular CW TV series, Reign. Thanks to Netflix all of the seasons are available to stream. I’m a little bit of a sucker for a good historical themed TV show. Reign is definitely on my top list of historical themed TV shows. The actors used in the show were very well chosen. The actor for King Henry II looked very familiar. While watching Reign it suddenly hit me… Shadowhunters! Alan Van Sprang played King Henry II in Reign but also played Valentine Morgenstern on Shadowhunters. Little Women Little Late
The most recent Little Women movie remake has been out for a while now, since December 25th, which means it won’t be at the movie theater much longer. Little Women is based on the book Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. My favorite Little Women remake was the 1994 version. However, when I found at that Emma Watson was starring in the most recent remake that alone made me want to see it.
