Go-To Conditioner For Blondies
Bleaching your hair, especially if you have naturally dark hair, has it’s pros and cons. The biggest con that most blondies complain about is the damage that bleaching their hair creates. Dry, straw-like, rubberband breakage, and how weak the hair becomes. These problems require some intensive hair workouts and muscle building! Bleached hair is very high maintenance. Can you still bleach your hair and be a low maintenance person? The answer, yes! A satin pillowcase to sleep on and the correct conditioner are the key. Everyone has different hair types, so while some conditioners won’t work for some they will work for others. I have tried an endless amount of…

Missy’s Top Three Jerky Treats
Let’s face it, we drop more money than necessary on our pets because they’re our babies. Between the treats and the toys (and so much more), it’s enough to ask your Boss for a raise. When your Boss inquires about the reason for such raise, simply inform him or her that without such raise your pet will starve as it needs a life of luxury. Kidding, of course, don’t start that conversation! It can only lead to living in a cardboard box. All jokes aside, times are tough but we try our best to keep our pets happy and well fed. Missy’s favorite treats consist of jerky and more jerky.…

Group homes and halfway houses can be good or bad, pending how they are run and whether or not the homes/houses cause outside trouble. Complaints are being made but changes can’t be seen. One question remains, is St. John the Baptist Parish not handling the issues or is the State not handling the issues? If the issues are being handled but the issues are becoming increasingly worse… what needs to be done? Due…

Dunkin’ VS. PJ’s Coffee: Gingerbread Flavor
As you all know I am a big fan of Dunkin’ Donuts! Last year Dunkin’ nailed it with their gingerbread flavored coffee. Unfortunately, to much dismay, this year the gingerbread flavor is unavailable at Dunkin’. However, PJ’s Coffee has gingerbread flavored coffee this year! So, who did it better? Dunkin’ or PJ’s Coffee? While I’m really thankful that PJ’s Coffee offers gingerbread flavored coffee the flavor is a bit of a let down in comparison to Dunkin’. It has too much of an alcohol aftertaste. It definitely doesn’t stop me from being in the spirit this year by drinking it! Dunkin’s version of gingerbread tasted like a gingerbread cookie without…
